Rare opportunity for just the right 3rd grade teacher Children's Day School (CDS) in San Francisco is looking for an experienced third grade teacher for the  2004-2005 school year. Located on a beautiful 1.2 acre campus (with sheep, chickens and a large garden!) secluded in the middle of the block in the Mission  District, Children's Day School exists to educate children to their full potential by challenging them intellectually, physically, socially and morally. We are a community of learners comprised of students, educators and parents who share a vision for a better kind of learning, and who are committed to building a  unique educational environment for children 3-years old through 8th grade. Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree, teaching certificate, and experience in teaching at the elementary level. Skill in curriculum development and a working knowledge of interdisciplinary project work are a definite plus. The successful candidate must possess leadership skills, initiative, and an ability to work continuously with diverse constituencies.

Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
