Site Navigation Navigation through the Project Approach site should be very efficient. All pages have a navigation bar at the top and the text based navigation bar on the bottom. In addition, most pages will also have a Discussion, Site Info, Resources and a navigation section at the right hand side of the page. Navigation with Netscape or a similar WWW browser is generally very simple. Using your mouse, "click" on the underlined or highlighted text or images and you will move from the page you are on, to the page that is attached to or linked to the underlined word or image. When you click on one of these links you are actually activating a hypertext link, or asking Netscape to take you to the desired page. These hypertext links facilitate most of the navigation on the WWW. Most browsers will have "Back" and
"Forward" buttons that will take you back to the previous page you visited, or
forward to another page. The "Home" button will take you back to the page that
your browser has set as its starting point or home. |
